We make sure that the house is secure, the heat is on and working, run water in all sinks, tubs, and showers, flush toilets. We use a weekly checklist so we have a written record of the visits. We can provide the service weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly. Besides trying to control energy bills during the winter, the best reason to hire a caretaking serive is that if something does happen to your home -broken pipes, a tree limb through a window, a burglary- the insurance company is more likely to honor your claim! There is a clause in most insurance company policies that exempt them from honoring a claim unless the appropraiate care has been taken with the property! Our Custom Services can include, but are not limited to: Preparation of your home upon your arrival. We make a visit to turn your heat up, hot tub, stock your refrigerator, shovel the walk, turn on the lights and possibly having a bottle of fine wine waiting for you!
