Picture yourself soaking in the hot tub or sitting out on the large deck enjoying the views of the Beartooth Mountains and listening to Rock Creek rushing by. This two bedroom and one bath hand crafted historic cabin offers gas grill, wood fireplace and a full kitchen. Sleeps 4 people. There is are two TVs with satellite and DVD player plus many games and more!

This cabin is special in many ways…the location on Rock Creek is special, the landmark Point of Rocks spire across from the cabin is special, the spirit of the cabin is special, and the new systems that allow continued use of this great place are also special. Please let us explain.

In order for this cabin to remain in use in this magnificent creek side location new septic and water systems were required and this work has recently been completed. It was quite a feat to meet all county and state regulations to bring this cabin to code making sure precious natural resources are cared for properly.

What this means for your stay? Your potable water for the cabin runs from a large closed cistern. There will be plenty of water for you to enjoy a comfortable stay but we do ask that you be water conscious while staying here. Please don’t let the faucet run while you are brushing your teeth. Please wash dishes with water conservation in mind (i.e. please don’t let water run continuously while rinsing) and although we want you to enjoy your showers, please do so briefly. We have provided a five-gallon drinking/cooking water dispenser for you in the kitchen area. You can drink water from the faucet but we ask that you use the water dispenser to take a bit of use off of the cistern. The toilet is a very low flow 1.28 gallon flush toilet. It works well and is brand new in order to help save water. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us continue to preserve the area as well as this historic log home.
